The Ravenswood

The Ravenswood, near East Grinstead, West Sussex, is a venue that truly embraces its 15th-century heritage. As a wedding photographer based in nearby Horley, I’ve found it’s mix of grand interiors and expansive grounds provide a wealth of opportunities for natural, storytelling photography (which is my favourite type to shoot!).

This gallery showcases a full day I captured for Michelle and Chris in January. Despite the grey winter skies on the day, the warmth of the celebrations inside the The Baronial Hall and The Princess Beatrice Suite, as well as the atmospheric mist (and 5 minutes of sunshine!) in the gardens allowed us to create a set of images that feel both intimate and full of life.
With over 15 years of experience, my focus is always on the genuine moments - without the need for intrusive posing.
